When asked to share a few of my favorite recipes I decided to begin with recipes closest to my heart — simple recipes that I enjoy making at home for my friends and family.
Like everyone caught in the hurlyburly of modern living, I (and my guests who are required to bump shoulders with me in the kitchen) do not want to be shackled with complicated techniques and time-consuming procedures. However, I do want my friends to enjoy the aromas and the textures, as well as the flavors of chocolate.
I feel comfortable presenting these desserts to my most discriminating friends, even though these are very simple recipes. They are great recipes that can accompany a meal or "comfort beverage" while still leaving the best time for visiting or couch-snuggling on a Saturday night. Savor each chocolate moment.
