Our Rheingold Toffee was created by our Master Chocolatier, Dana Davenport, by the commission of the Pacific Northwest Wagner Festival, to be the signature confection celebrating the 1981 performance of the opera Der Ring des Nibelungen. It is an English-style toffee made with a 50% butter recipe, making it uniquely tender.
