This...and the Semisweet Ephemere...are both rich and elegant and very tasty sauces that have no peers...makes for a killer hot cocoa! Dave

30 years loving you

My very first try at a mocha was one with Ephemere Chocolate which set off this life long love affair. Many moves later I must settle for the few times a year I go through SEATAC. I give in. I will just start ordering it.Excellent product!!

A Dark Chocolate Secret!

I keep expecting Ephemere Sauce to be everywhere because I grew up in Seattle and LOVE it SO much from my visits to the Dilettante cafe on Capitol Hill. When I'm back in town, a Dilettante sundae is always on my agenda. But in the meanwhile, I make sure to keep it on hand down here in SoCal--it's my little dark chocolate secret for dinner parties and other gatherings with friends. The "bitter" is no joke -- it has that slight rich chocolate liqueur flavor that knocks everyone over. So glad I can order it online!

Delicious “bittersweet” chocolate sauce!

Learned about semisweet Dilettante maybe 25 years ago in Tampa FL, where a small cafe opened there from the Jet City. Loved it in the lattes and loved it over vanilla ice cream. All these years later, after moving far away and occasionally ordering directly from dilettante from afar, I find my tastes migrated to what they call “bittersweet“ ... as a most delicious semisweet sauce. Just the right level of sweetness, and just the right amount of other flavors.

Don't let the word bittersweet scare you!

This sauce is only a slight bit different from semi-sweet. I would say it is richer and more of the "Wow. That's great chocolate" kind of flavor. I go out of my way to have this on hand. Makes a GREAT dessert fondu. Just cut up some fruit and squeeze some sauce into a fondu bowl in the middle of the table. Starts thick, but thins when slightly heated.(Alternatively, set the plastic bottle in a bowl of very warm water while having dinner and it will be ready for dipping when it's dessert time.)

don’t underestimate the bittersweet

Extremely thick, stands up nearly like frosting. So dark as to blend into the espresso well, just making it a bit smoother. My dad is gonna love it, so I’ll save it for him. Not to my taste, but seems well loved for those aspects and is a quality product. I need a smidge more sweet, myself, so onward in my quest for my ultimate chocolate sauce

Ephemera chocolate sauce

The flavor of of this chocolate is heavenly. The best I have ever tasted. My only problem was the container. It is so slow pouring. I wished for a wide mouthed container. If I could get to it easier I would have ordered more by now. Fantastically rich chocolate taste. Great taste.
