    Our most popular dragee blend which includes the highest quality chocolate covered dried cherries, blueberries, strawberries, & apricots. Dilettante creates this delectable blend in special revolving kettles using only the finest coverture quality chocolate and premium dried fruits.
    The term “dragee” has French origins and describes the method in which we coat our dried fruits, nuts, and espresso beans. With no compound coating and only the highest quality chocolate, these items serve as the chocolate connoisseur’s ultimate snack.

    Here at Dilettante, third-generation Master Chocolatier Dana Taylor Davenport uses master formulas that are selected from the notebooks of Dana's grandfather, Earl Remington Davenport and his great-uncle, Julius Rudolph Franzen, Master Chocolatier and Pastry Chef to the crowned heads of Europe.

    Warm Weather Shipping Policy


    Warm weather shipping rates are in effect June through September for all perishable chocolate and non-chocolate perishable products; and may be extended beyond these months depending on location.
     
    If temperatures in your area exceed 75°F, expedited shipping must be chosen as your shipping option to ensure your product arrives without melting.
     
    It is very important to us that you receive all of your products at the peak of their perfection. Many of our products are perishable in temperatures above 75°F. To avoid spoilage due to high temperatures, we chill each package that may encounter extreme temperatures. This protective treatment lasts for only 48 hours under normal conditions. Therefore, in order for you to receive your products in their best condition, we must restrict the total delivery time to no more than 48 hours for many of our products. 

    All shipments originate from Kent, Washington. Please note that orders are not processed on Weekends or Holidays as our transportation partners are closed on those days. Orders subject to Heat Restriction only ship Monday through Wednesday for arrival on Wednesday through Friday respectively.  Orders placed after this time will be held for processing until the following Monday. When your order ships, you will receive an email with the transportation method and tracking number. Please use this information to estimate the delivery date.

    Packages sitting outside in the heat could damage the perishable chocolate. We strongly encourage all customers who are not home to receive shipments to have their shipments delivered to a business address.

    The first time sample of this fresh fruit flavor complemented by the fine quality chocolate created an unbeatable taste treat. I thought I had tasted every variety of dried fruit-chocolate combination, but I was happily surprised with this fruit medley.

    Who cares about food when you can eat fruit that is so delicious in a candy? Best chocolate I''ve tasted, and I eat a lot of chocolate! I have looked for them again, but now cant'' find them anywhere... HELP! I''ve checked with 4 stores and am beginning to have a chocolate breakdown, may have to start up Choco-holics Annonymous in Northern California. Please, stop me before I do. The holidays just won''t be merry without you. You really know how to make chocolate! Thank you a thousand times.
