Deep, dark chocolate ganache is enrobed in still more dark chocolate to create the Ephemere Dark Chocolate TruffleCremes. These bite-sized chocolate truffles are a perfect choice for those who love dark chocolate.
Dilettante's signature flavor experience, Ephemere, is an heirloom family recipe handed down to Dana by his grandfather. It describes Dilettante’s proprietary cooking method that unites caramelized butter, sugar, and cream to create a velvety smooth chocolate truffle. The term Ephemere is derived from the word ephemeral, meaning a brief other-worldly experience.
Ephemere chocolate is made from a blend of West African and South American cacao (53%). As the signature flavor of Dilettante, these dark chocolates are sure to please the most discerning chocolate lover.
This 28-Ounce tub is the perfect way to enjoy this novel flavor. Share with friends at a party, or keep around the house to try this decadent flavor with family. No matter how these treats are enjoyed, expect a deep, rich, and smooth dark chocolate flavor in each foil.
Master Chocolatier Dana Davenport started Dilettante Chocolates in 1976, creating hand-dipped chocolate truffles inspired by formulas passed down through three generations. TruffleCremes are an evolution of Dilettante's original truffles; a creamy blend of the finest chocolate and natural flavors. A family tradition started in 1898 with the Master Confectioner for Emperor Franz Josef I, is continued today with these delectable treats.
I was first introduced to the Truffle Cremes at the Seattle Airport on the way to Alaska, on the way back through I replenished my supply and now order them by the case. There is nothing that I have found that comes close to the quality, consistency or flavor. Everyone in the family is always in my stash.
Best Dark Chocolate ever!
I love the dark chocolate truffles
We have been enjoying these dark chocolate truffles for at least 10 years and have gifted them to our family in California and Colorado.
I was at a Dilettante coffee stand recently, for the first time in a long time, and was really missing that signature Ephemere flavor. I ordered an Ephemere mocha, and it was good, but not the same. It has been a couple years since I had one, so I assumed it was me. Right after that my wife ordered me a 28oz container of the Trufflecremes, Ephemere of course. I figured that these would have that AWESOME Ephemere flavor, and maybe the barista mixed up my mocha order. Nope. The Trufflecremes are really good, but definitely do not have that old Ephemere flavor. Did I miss something? Was the recipe changed? Where did you go Ephemere? Come back!!!
