In the last couple of years, numerous factors have impacted
our shipping partners, USPS and Fed Ex. Due to complications created by an increase in demand for shipping and a shortage of workers, shipping costs have increased.

Dilettante's warm weather shipping policy helps ship chocolates safely during the summertime. During this period, orders are only shipped Monday-Wednesday, are sent using two-day shipping services, and comes packaged with ice to maintain the chocolate's quality and prevent melting.

Unfortunately, during the warm weather period, Dilettante
cannot offer free shipping on orders over $150.

Dilettante's standard shipping option is only available to individuals living within the 48 contiguous United States. Type in a shipping address at checkout to view Dilettante's available shipping options.

Dilettante Chocolates ships orders every business day Monday through Friday. Items will ship within two business days of receipt of payment. A delivery confirmation email and a package tracking number will both send after the package ships.

In the unlikely event Dilettante cannot ship a package within two days of completed payment, our team will reach out. In these cases, the customer is offered a 100% refund of the purchase or the date the item will ship.

During Dilettante's warm-weather shipping period, orders will only ship Monday-Wednesday. Any orders placed after 11 a.m. Pacific Time Wednesday through Sunday will be held for processing until the following Monday.

Yes. Orders sent to multiple addresses pay the shipping on a per-recipient basis. More information can be found on the Dilettante Chocolates shipping policy page.

Yes. Both shipping tracking and an order confirmation will be sent to the email address attached to each order.

To cancel an order, visit our contact page, and our team will work to cancel the order before it is shipped.

While most of Dilettante's chocolates do not contain alcohol, Dilettante chocolate truffles can contain trace amounts. This alcohol is cooked off in the cooking process resulting in chocolate truffles containing less than 1% alcohol.

Dilettante's Hand-Dipped Chocolates and Hand-Dipped Caramels are the only products to contain alcohol.

None of Dilettante's chocolate includes hydrogenated oils or trans fats in any of its chocolate products to maintain our commitment to quality.

Yes, Dilettante Chocolates uses milk in its chocolate.

Yes, Dilettante Chocolates uses soy lecithin as an
emulsifier to better create an ideal chocolate texture.

Although Dilettante's chocolate does not contain any nuts inside the product itself, the chocolate is made in a space that also processes pine nuts and peanuts. Although precautions are put in place to prevent as much cross-contamination as possible, those with nut allergies should be made aware Dilettante's chocolates are not made in a nut-free facility.

Additionally, Dilettante's Chocolate Truffles, Assorted Truffles Gift Box, Caramel & Toffee Collection, Premier Chocolate Truffle Collection, and Dark Chocolate Collection contain nuts.

Although Dilettante's chocolate does not contain any gluten inside the product itself, the chocolate is made in a space that also processes wheat. Therefore, although precautions are put in place to prevent as much cross-contamination as possible, those with gluten sensitivities should be made aware Dilettante's chocolate is not made in a gluten-free facility.

Yes. To thank those who subscribe to the Dilettante Chocolates email list, Dilettante offers a coupon code for 10% all orders. Customers can enjoy saving when visiting the email sign-up page. Receiving these emails will also let customers know when Dilettante has any exclusive offers. Following Dilettante on Facebook or Instagram are other great ways to not miss out on a sale or deal.

Yes. Many of Dilettante's products come in specific case sizes. Above the add to cart button, changing the package size to the product's case size can save 10% off its regular price.

Yes. To add a gift message, write inside the notes section on the shopping cart page. Gift orders will exclude a physical invoice.

Dilettante Chocolates accepts Amex, Apple Pay, Diners Club, Discover, Google Pay, Mastercard, Shop Pay, and Visa.

Customers can return products within 14 days of receipt if they are unsatisfied with their purchase for any reason. Upon returning the item, Dilettante will promptly refund 100% of the purchase price, less any shipping charges.

In the last year, many retailers needed to re-evaluate their inventories. Due to these changes, Dilettante does not currently have a list of retailers where our products are available. Dilettante Chocolates are always available at any of our Mocha Café Locations.

Dilettante is currently undergoing changes to its production facility to resume making its biscotti. It has been a long process with added challenges along the way, but the Dilettante team is grateful for the patience of its supporters. There are no firm dates yet, but Dilettante plans to bring biscotti back as soon as possible.
