Bacon-Weave S'mores Recipe

Yields: 2 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. bacon slices, halved
  • 2 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 6 large marshmallows
  • 2 bars chocolate

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

To create a bacon weave, start by lining 3 strips of bacon side-by-side vertically. Take a 4th strip and place it horizontally on top of the original 3 strips of bacon. Lift and fold the bacon in an alternating fashion. Repeat with the 5th and 6th strips to complete the first bacon weave. Gather 6 new strips of bacon and repeat the process to create your second bacon weave.

Place bacon weaves on a baking rack and shower them with brown sugar. Bake 25 minutes, or until the bacon is firm. Set finished bacon weaves aside on a plate.

Roast 3 marshmallows. Everyone’s roasting preference is different, golden brown or burnt to a crisp, whatever way you like your marshmallows works with this recipe.

Snap off a few pieces of a Dilettante chocolate bar. Place the chocolate and marshmallows on top of one of the bacon weaves. Cover with the second bacon weave.
